Nacelle LiDAR
Nacelle LiDARs have become a standard wind measurement tool in the wind industry and are now standard equipment on new high-performance wind turbines. LidarONE measures the incoming wind several rotor diameters in front of the turbine, before it reaches the rotor. The control system can react proactively, yaw alignment is more precise, and pitch control can operate more effectively. LidarONE features a universal tripod mounting stand compatible with all types and models of nacelles. Data is output via a standard interface and can be directly integrated into SCADA systems. Additionally, every LidarONE unit can be natively connected to LiCuSpace FullSky. LidarONE can be easily retrofitted.
Wind Energy Plant
LidarCONE measures the entire environment around a wind turbine up to approximately twice its height and within a radius of about 1.5 km. The airflow is measured freely across the entire rotor surface without any interference from the rotor. Due to its design, LidarCONE measures the wind angle of attack with the highest precision compared to all other currently available measurement methods. LidarCONE enables precise control of the turbine, enhancing safety and operational efficiency. LidarCONE is installed at the base of the tower for easy maintenance. Data is output via a standard interface and can be directly integrated into SCADA systems. Additionally, each LidarCONE can be natively connected to LiCuSpace FullSky. LidarCONE can be easily retrofitted to any existing turbine.
Wind Park
FullSky aggregates the sensor data from the individual wind turbines in a wind farm and analyzes it on a sensor-by-sensor basis. FullSky also incorporates additional available sensors, which together provide a complete picture of the entire wind field. The FullSky AI core aggregates the local sensor data into a homogeneous, comprehensive wind profile of the entire wind farm, including the surrounding area. The entire wind farm can react proactively and in real time to upcoming wind events and, in particular, to fluctuations. Yield is increased, safety is further enhanced, and peak loads can be avoided. All devices in the LidarCUBE family, such as LidarONE, LidarCUBE mini, LidarCUBE light, etc., are natively integrated and utilized to their fullest potential. However, devices from other manufacturers and other measurement methods can also be integrated largely automatically.
Site Assessment
A wide range of LiCuSpace Lidar devices are ideally suited for site assessments. For most requirements, LidarFLEX (a cluster of at least three LidarONE units) and LidarCUBE mini are excellent choices. For larger assessment tasks, the adaptively configured FullSky configurations and combinations are the perfect solution.
